Teacher - Ngā pouako

Tēnā koutou katoa. Ko Taranaki tōku maunga, Ko Whanganui tōku  awa, Ko Aotea tōku waka, Ko Pakaraka tōku marae, Ko Ngā Rauru tōku iwi, Ko Ngāti Maika tōku hapū.

My name is Angela Graham and I am excited to join the team at Feilding Intermediate as a team leader of Pou Aroha.  Graduating from teachers college in 1996, I have taught for 16 years in Porirua and Otaki whilst bringing up 3 beautiful children.

At the forefront of my teaching philosophy is that a teacher's rapport and dyadic relationship with their students is key to them developing a sense of competence, autonomy and relatedness. It is important to me as a teacher to have a clear idea of the motivational beliefs and values that students possess in order to provide an inclusive and supportive learning environment, resulting in higher self-efficacy.

My passions are reading, sports, drag racing and most importantly, spending time with my whanau.
