My name is Jamie Manuel (Whaea Jamie) and I am a classroom teacher here at Feilding Intermediate. I am new to the FIS community after working in Palmerston North for the past four years. I was born and raised in Feilding so I am looking forward to teaching in this community.
I aim to build strong, positive relationships with my students and use a classroom culture of high expectations to drive student success. I am particularly passionate about Te Reo me ōna tikanga Māori, Sport and Physical Education.
I am highly involved in netball - coaching, playing and umpiring - both across the Manawatū and New Zealand. In my spare time you will usually find me at netball, spending time with my whānau or baking.
